EXO members are a funny bunch and their fans are no strangers to their hilarious banter on variety shows and in real life. Chanyeol recently proved that he can go after any member he wanted when he challenged Chen for his "powers."

According to a post by Koreaboo, SM Entertainment dropped fresh individual teasers for EXO Chen showing his two different characters fighting against each other.

While one of Chen's characters appeared to be good , the other character seemed to have the power to command fire. The concept was part of EXO's promotions for its upcoming comeback album, OBSESSION.

EXO-Ls were impressed by the strong visuals that  Chen presented and praised the idea of showing a different look for the vocalist. However, Chanyeol was completely dissatisfied with SM Entertainment for giving Chen the fire concept.

In an Instagram post, the outspoken EXO member simply stated: "Fire is Mine." This set off a round of reactions from fans.

Some of the fans agreed that Chanyeol should have been given the power of fire since the comeback album OBSESSION was set for release on his birthday on Nov. 27. Some expressed amusement at his reaction to Chen's power, knowing how passionate Chanyeol was about the characters he liked.

It can be recalled that Chanyeol ruled the SM Entertainment Halloween Party in 2017 by wearing a replica of Iron's Man's costume. He intended to follow up the epic outfit with a Deadpool getup the following year. He even contacted the actual costume designer for the movie and commissioned a replica to be shipped to Korea. However, the costume failed to make it out of Customs on time because the props looked too real. As a result, Chanyeol was not able to attend the party at all, Koreaboo reported.

EXO members have been preparing diligently for their upcoming comeback in order to make up for the members on hiatus. It can be recalled that EXO's eldest member Xiumin, enlisted in the military this year, and was followed shortly by D.O. Lay was also unable to join the comeback because of his tight schedule of activities in China.

This will be the first time that EXO will be releasing an album with only six members, including Suho, Chen, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun. This will also be the first time that Baekhyun and Kai will be pulling double duty as members of both EXO and new idol group, SuperM.

However, the EXO members seem determined to prove to their fans that even with six members, the group can still deliver fully on quality performance. The group recently uploaded a dance practice video which showed the members seriously nailing the technical choreography for the comeback track, All Kpop reported.
