SM Entertainment confirmed that EXO will be making a guest appearance on Radio Star for its upcoming comeback album,OBSESSION.
According to a report by All Kpop, EXO will appear with six members including Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun. This will be the first time that EXO will promote with only six members while others are on hiatus.
EXO's Xiumin and D.O. entered the military this year while Lay has been concentrating on promoting his solo album in China, leaving only six members to work on the album. OBSESSION will be EXO'x sixth full studio album which will be released on November 27.
According to SM Entertainment, OBSESSION will feature 10 songs including the title track, Obsession, Trouble, Jekyll, Groove, Ya Ya Ya, Baby You Are, Non Stop, Day After Day, Butterfly Effect, and the Chinese version of Obsession.
Based on the earlier description released by the agency, OBSESSION will mainly feature a hip hop genre, with lyrics that have a dark and lonesome monologue.
SM Entertainment has opened pre-orders for OBSESSION, which has sold out its two versions - EXO and XEXO. The EXO concept showcases members as heroes while the XEXO version features Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun as villains.
Upon ordering, the album will include six photo books, one folded poster which includes one out of 6 members randomly, another initial-only poster featuring one of the members, one photo slide, and one photo card. Every album will be different based on the version.
The numbers from the album sales will count toward Billboard and Gaon charts in Korea.
SM Entertainment earlier released teaser images for EXO members featured in a good vs evil concept. The label also teased the dance practice video which showed the members diligently working on the choreography of their new song.
EXO-Ls were relieved with the announcement of EXO's November comeback because many fans were worried that Baekhyun and Kai's involvement in the new idol group, SuperM, was going to affect EXO's group activities.
After completing their tour in US, SuperM members returned to their original units -- EXO, NCT 127, WayV and SHINEE, to resume activities with their other members.
Kai also assured in an interview that he and Baekhyun will work hard to show their best to their EXO and SuperM fans. He also said that the activities of both groups will proceed without any conflict.
It is expected that EXO will finish the year strong with promotions for OBSESSION, especially in music shows.
