BTS Jimin recently received several custom made sunglasses from Korean company GENTLE MONSTER as a sweet surprise for his support for the brand.

The gesture was the company's way to thank Jimin for all the attention he has generated for the Korean made sunglasses and glasses, which he wore on multiple occasions.

Hankook Kim founded the brand in South Korea in 2011. Within eight years, the innovative brand expanded to markets in Korea, the United States, Singapore, and China.

It can be recalled that the sunglasses that Jimin wore to BTS' performance of Boy with Luv at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards became a hot topic on social media as ARMYs shared his photos on different platforms. Jimin's sunglasses trended worldwide and became a top search topic for the day, All Kpop reported.

GENTLE MONSTER took the opportunity to share on their Twitter account that the shades Jimin wore was a product from their line of sunglasses. This led fans to flock to GENTLE MONSTER's site and physical stores to purchase the item. As a result, it was quickly sold out in all the brand's locations.

It was discovered that Jimin was a big fan of the GENTLE MONSTER brand because he was spotted on many occasions, wearing shades from the company. Apart from the BTS performance on the BBMAs, Jimin wore different styles of the sunglass brand to accessorize his looks.

It came as no surprise that GENTLE MONSTER sent Jimin his customized set of shades for bringing global attention to the Korean brand.

It was considered proof of the BTS members' strong marketing appeal that the product sold out all over the world in record time. Jimin's fans made sure that they showed their support for their favorite BTS members in full force.

Each of the sunglasses reportedly cost as much as USD 280 but ARMYs paid no mind to the price to show their love for Jimin.

It can be recalled that the prestigious Business of Fashion Magazine recently selected Jimin as one of the BoF 500 top celebrity fashion influencers.

The BTS member was the only male idol on the list that was selected by BoF editors from hundreds of nominees submitted by experts in the fashion industry. Jimin was also the only Asian to be included in GQ Magazine's best dressed men of the week, Koreaboo reported.
