Super Junior's Kim Heechul made his Instagram account private and unfollowed everyone on social media after news of Goo Hara's death, making fans worry about his mental health.

According to a report by All Kpop, fans became worried about Heechul after the normally gregarious idol made the drastic move on social media. It can be recalled that Kim Heechul was good friends with both Goo Hara and Sulli, who were both found dead in their homes because of suspected suicide.

After Sulli's death last month, it was reportedly believed that Heechul adopted her cat, whom fans spotted in his home during one of his live broadcasts. However, fans of the Universal Star observed that even though Heechul was in mourning over Sulli's death, he continued posting on SNS and resumed his activities normally.

With Hara's death, Heechul seemed to have cut off his communication with the public by changing the settings on his Instagram. Fans shared their worry over Heechul's condition and said that it was unlike the Super Junior member to isolate himself from the public. There were also those who said that fans should simply support Heechul at this time and respect his privacy.

Kim Heechul's close friendship with Goo Hara was well known to celebrities and fans alike. The friendship between the two idols started in 2015 when they both hosted A Style for You, a beauty show, which also included SISTAR's Bora, and EXID's Hani in the cast.

The show featured the hosts completing weekly missions related to fashion where Heechul and Hara often became partners with each other. Fans of the show loved the natural chemistry between the two friends and often asked the pair to date in real life. In one of the more notable episodes of the show, Heechul treated Hara to a piggyback ride, saying that she looked tired after completing a mission, Soompi reported.

After the show ended, Heechul and Hara remained good friends. Heechul also maintained contact with Bora and Hani and joked about the secrets that he knew about his co-stars whenever they were featured as guests in the shows that he hosted like Knowing Bros.

Goo Hara was found dead in her Gangnam home last Sunday, six months after she attempted to end her life in May. In both instances, Hara posted a single word message on her Instagram. In May, she posted the word "Goodbye." Before she was found dead this weekend, she reportedly posted the word "Goodnight" on her social media account.
