Justin Timberlake has been rumored to be cheating on his wife Jessica Beil after he was spotted holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright. However, the rumor has been dismissed from those close to the situation and the "Sexy Back" singer.
Timberlake and Wainwright along with the other cast members and crew of Palmer were out on Saturday night at The Absinthe House in New Orleans. The group was seen enjoying drinks on the balcony overlooking Bourbon Street.
The Sun published a video of the group wherein Timberlake appearing to get cozy with Wainwright. In the clip, the 38-year-old actor is seen briefly hold the actress's hand under a table.
Another snap also captured Wainwright's hand on Timberlake's leg. Soon after the video was shared online, netizens began to speculate if the former NSYNC singer is cheating on Biel with his co-star.
The Sun also noted that Justin was seen wearing his wedding ring earlier in the week, but it was MIA during the group's night out. It can be assumed that the "Filthy" singer removed his wedding band during the filming of Palmer.
E! News cited a source as saying, "there is absolutely nothing going on" between Timberlake and Wainwright. Another source who is close to the situation agreed and reiterated that several members of the cast and crew simply went to the bar for drinks.
Gossip Cop, meanwhile, noted that it could be seen in the now-viral video that it was not only Wainwright that Justin hold hands with. There is another woman in their group who he holds hand longer. The same woman helped drank Timberlake up from his chair and leading him out of the bar.
The publication noted that the Friends With Benefits actor went home early as he appeared to have drunk a bit too much. Wainwright, on the other hand, stayed behind and continued chatting with the other people in their group.
Timberlake and Biel have been married since 2012. They shared a four-year-old son. Over the years, the singer/actor has been very vocal about his love for the 7th Heaven actress. In his recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Justin talked about that he already found his "person" in his wife.
Meanwhile, Timberlake's' upcoming movie, Palmer, started production this month. The film follows the life of Eddie Palmer (Timberlake), a former college football star. His chance for a professional career ended after he went to prison. When he gets out of prison, he finds himself being a caretaker of a boy who was abandoned by his mother.
