Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still in a custody battle over their six children. The ex-couple reached a temporary agreement over a year ago that gives Jolie the physical custody of their children and visitation rights for Pitt. The actor, however, is reportedly seeking a 50/50 physical custody.
The National Enquirer wrote Jolie is taking some action to make Pitt's demand unlikely to happen. The outlet alleged that the Maleficent actress is trash-talking Brad to their children: Maddox, 18, Pax, 15, Zahara,14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 11. She allegedly trying to turn them against him and has been telling the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor that their kids hate him.
The report alleged that Angelina is telling Brad that their children "hate his guts." But the site also claimed that the Troy actor is not falling to more of Jolie's drama.
The publication cited a source as saying Pitt doesn't believe Jolie's words that their kids don't want to spend time with him. The Ad Astra actor is convinced that his ex-wife is poisoning the minds of their children, but Pitt is determined to make his relationship with them better.
Jolie's rep confirmed to Gossip Cop that the National Enquirer's story is "absolute nonsense." The actress' camp stressed that the Salt star only has her kids' best interests in mind and mentally and emotionally manipulating them to hate their father is baseless.
Jolie earlier revealed that she can make sacrifices for her children. She admitted in an interview with Harper's Bazaar that she would prefer to live abroad with her kids.
However, she decided to settle in Los Angeles with them because it is where Pitt chooses to live. Enquirer earlier claimed that Jolie was plotting to take her children away from Pitt, based on what the actress said in the interview.
The Enquirer latest report comes amidst speculations that the 55-year-old actor is determined to get custody of the children for Thanksgiving. Maddox is reportedly the only one who won't be spending the holidays with his father as his relationship with him remains frosty. Also, Maddox is also currently out of the country as he attends college in South Korea.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. The sudden split of one of the A-list couples in Hollywood was reportedly triggered by the altercation between Brad and son, Maddox, during the family's private plane trip. In April, the court finalized Jolie and Pitt's divorce.
