Before Camilla Parker-Bowles got wedded to Prince Charles in 2005, she was once married to Andrew Parker-Bowles. The former couple has two children, Laura Lopes and Tom Parker Bowles. When her daughter was about to have twins, the Duchess of Cornwall asked some advice from Gabby Logan to help her kid.
Laura Lopes gave birth to twin boys in 2009, but before that, the future queen consort reached out to Gabby Logan to ask some advice on how to look after twin kids. On her TV program, Back of the Net, with John Bishop and Peter Crouch, the 46-year-old presenter revealed that Camilla Parker-Bowles was not the only one from the royal family who asked her how to take care of twins.
The former international rhythmic gymnast revealed that when she met Queen Elizabeth II, the monarch became curious of how she fed her twins at the same time, per Express. Her Majesty asked Gabby Logan if she breastfed the kids all at one and how did she manage to do that.
Gabby Logan explained that there was a thing called "rugby ball hold," where she put both her kids on at once. Queen Elizabeth seemed amazed by what she did and couldn't even believe how it worked. So, at the time, they had a conversation about breastfeeding.
Later, her conversation with Her Majesty was followed by a similar inquiry from Camilla Parker-Bowles during an event at Highgrove House, Gloucester. Gabby Logan was invited to Prince Charles' home, and Camilla came up to her to ask about her twins. At the time, her daughter was also about to give birth to twins.
She asked how the host breastfed them concurrently. "I was like, 'just ask your mother-in-law and stop wasting my time,'" Gabby Logan responded.
Camilla Parker-Bowles was first married to Andrew Parker-Bowles before she wedded Prince Charles. The two got divorced in 1995 after their society wedding in 1973 at the Guards Chapel in London. At the time, the Queen Mother, Princess Anne, and Princess Margaret were all there to witness the event, Town and Country magazine reported.
They had two children, and one of them, Tom Parker-Bowles, was not only Prince Charles' stepson but also his godson. Camilla Parker-Bowles now has five grandchildren, including Eliza, who was Prince William and Kate Middleton's bridesmaid in their 2011 wedding. The heir to the throne was also fond of his wife's grandkids, especially when he made his rendition of Harry Potter characters' voices.
