The second pregnancy of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry's wife, remains one of the most highly anticipated moments among punters in Britain. Bookmakers are apparently putting the odds that the palace will make an announcement sometime before the confirmation of Princess Beatrice's wedding date.

According to Daily Express, there is currently a 3 to 1 odds that Meghan's second pregnancy announcement will be made just as Princess Beatrice reveals when she'll actually get married to her fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The couple announced their engagement in late September 2019 but they have not divulged the date of the wedding.

Royal fans think that Princess Beatrice and her beau will have an early 2020 wedding and it will likely coincide with another milestone in Meghan and Prince Harry's life. Apparently, it won't be the first time these royal cousins upstage each other with some good news to share. When Princess Beatrice's sister Princess Eugenie had her wedding in October 2018, the Sussex royals unveiled Meghan's baby bump to the public for the first time to confirm that they were expecting baby Archie.

Punters think that it will be the same for Sussex baby number two. According to a spokesperson for Bookmakers.TV, the latest betting trends suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan will make a baby announcement at the beginning of 2020.

Fans have long speculated of Meghan Markle's second pregnancy especially after Prince Harry hinted that he's keen on having another child. At a visit to be with military families last October, Prince Harry apparently asked some parents what it's like to raise two young kids. One of the military moms said that she was actually trying to encourage Prince Harry to go for the second baby.

Over the summer, the Duke of Sussex said that his goal for his family is to have two children maximum to curb their carbon footprint. He was speaking to environmentalist Jane Goodall about his plans and about his advocacy for the environment.

Prince Harry also said that he has a different view and attitude towards taking care of the planet after his son was born last May 2019. He said that he will try and ensure that the children of the next generation will be left with something better.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will soon be taking a sabbatical from their royal duties this holiday. Prince Harry, Meghan and Archie are off to fly to the U.S. for Christmas.
