Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are now weaning baby Archie with solid foods. The royal couple are reportedly feeding their six-month-old baby with "organic" and "seasonal" fresh produce as prepared by the family's cook.

Royal commentator Omid Scobie revealed this fact in the weekly podcast "The Royal Story." He got word from the duchess herself that Archie is trying to eat solids.

The podcast program also spoke with Carolyn Robb, the former chef of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. She shared that royal baby weaning food is always made fresh and there is hardly anything that's pre-made.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are quite hands-on in raising baby Archie although they have some help from a nanny who doesn't live with the family in Frogmore Cottage. According to reports, Prince Harry has one special demand from the nanny in that she has to never wear a uniform, unlike the traditional royals.

Apparently, this is part of Prince Harry's wish to give Archie a normal life as much as possible. He doesn't want the person taking care of his children to look like Mary Poppins.

Most royals usually employ a nanny who is a graduate of the elite school Norland College. The professionals from this academy wear the brown and beige uniform with bowler hat that royal fans might have seen from the nanny of the kids of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan had quite a challenging first few months with a new baby and a new nanny. Reports stated that the royal couple replaced their child's carer at least three times in three months since they couldn't find someone who would suit the baby's needs.

The first nanny was just a night nurse who was helpful during the baby's first few weeks. The second nanny was let go for reasons unknown to the public.

However, Prince Harry and Meghan's current nanny is supposed to be a "godsend" who got on with the family quite well. She was with the Sussex when the family had their first royal tour of South Africa.

This nanny is also said to be great with baby Archie, whom Meghan said is quite a happy child with a good disposition. She also has years of experience but more importantly the Sussex royals are very happy with her service.
