The list of musicians who will participate in Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) is being released. The event is coming in five days. There has been a reorganization over IZ*ONE and X1's participation as the groups were caught in a controversy of the vote manipulation of Produce X.

According to the source, those who listed in the MAMA '2nd Lineup' included the group ATEEZ, ONEUS and WayV as well as ITZY and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, which are the most powerful new idol groups of the year. WayV is the Chinese Idol group that belongs to SM.

ITZY will join as a new female group of this year. Tomorrow X Together is a male group that comes newly to the event.

The first lineup with BTS and TWICE was released. On the other hand, MAMA attracted another interest in whether IZ*ONE and X1 that appeared in the Produce series will join the contest. The end of debate eventually caught the eye by ending with a decision not to participate.

Many of the major cast and Mnet staff will leave for Japan on December 2nd and 3rd to prepare for the awards ceremony. This year, MAMA will be held on December 4 at Nagoya Dome, Japan's largest indoor stadium, known for its 40,000-seat capacity. Ticket sales from local booking sites in Japan since last month were very high, reaching 230,000 won. However, it drew another attention as the tickets sold fast and they had to use a lottery system.

The musicians who have confirmed their appearances in MAMA so far include the five new groups mentioned above and 13 teams including BTS, TWICE, MONSTA X, GOT7, Seventeen, Mamamoo, Cheongha and Dua Lipa.
