Full House star Lori Loughlin is one of the Hollywood stars that were involved in the college admissions cheating scandal. Some of the respondents to the case, such as Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman, have pleaded guilty and spent days in prison for their participation in the cheating. As for Loughlin, it has been speculated that she is faking an illness to avoid jail or at least lessen her time in prison.

Apparently, Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli could face up to 40 years in prison if they are convicted of the charges that they gave a $500,000 bribe to ensure their daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli will be admitted into the University of Southern California. According to the National Enquirer, the actress is now faking an illness to avoid this.

The outlet quoted a source as saying Loughlin talking about headaches and stomach cramps, which allegedly due to internal bleeding and organ failure. The claims reportedly haven't supported by the doctor's finding.

Insiders are speculating that the actress might have been imagining illness that is not there. The tabloid added other sources claimed this is Loughlin's ploy to get sympathy and avoid a stiff sentence.

Gossip Cop noted that it is understandable that both Loughlin and Giannulli are concerned about how their trial would go. But the site noted that there is no truth to the allegation that the actress is claiming to have an illness to get a lighter sentence since her trial has yet to start. Gossip Cop said it reached out to a friend of Loughlin who confirmed that there is no truth about rumors that the actress is sick.

Meanwhile, there were also reports that the Garage Sale Mystery star and Giannulli are getting really concerned about the jail sentence that they might receive after another parent involved in the scandal is sentenced to six months in prison. Real estate executive Toby MacFarlane pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. He was sentenced to six months in prison.

MacFarlane was revealed to lie about his children's athletic ability to get them enrolled at the University of Southern California. He falsely claimed his daughter as a soccer star while his son is exceptionally good at basketball. McFarlane paid $450,000 to secure his children spot in the university.

A source close to Loughlin told People that the actress and her husband are concerned since there is a similarity to their and MacFarlane's case. The couple is accused of paying $500,000 to admissions consultant William Singer, who falsely designated the couple's daughters as recruits to the USC crew team. The reality is neither Olivia Jade or Isabella Rose Giannulli participated in the sport.
