After their successful Pakistan tour in October, Kate Middleton and Prince William attended several engagements and events together in the last few weeks. Despite being together in almost all of these events, the Duchess of Cambridge is now in London while the duke is currently on his Kuwait and Oman visit.

Many royal fans have wondered why Kate was "left behind" at home. While unpleasant speculations and rumors already emerged, things were straightened out earlier this week by several experts from reports. Therefore, Kate Middleton was not left behind for Prince William to go "solo."

According to Express UK, members of the British Royal Family have their respective royal responsibilities and duties. For Prince William, his Kuwait and Oman four-day visit was at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The said tour was also revealed to be in line with the 120th anniversary of the Friendship Treaty between Kuwait and the United Kingdom. The duke will also meet officials and senior members of the society, and "highlight" the works and movements in the sectors of education, environment, and defense.

Prince William flew out of London on December 1 and will return home on December 5 as per official statements made by the palace.

On Kate Middleton's end, the publication further revealed that she would be joining the rest of the senior royals for the upcoming NATO Summit in Buckingham Palace. As per The Telegraph, some of the NATO leaders already arrived at the palace for the event hosted by Queen Elizabeth II.

It was also previously reported that the Duchess of Cambridge is set to "greet" the NATO General Secretary, Jens Stoltenberg, United States President, Donald Trump, and French President, Emmanual Macron.

Hence, it is no wonder why the duchess did not join her husband, Prince William, in his four-day tour in Kuwait and Oman.

The reports revealing Prince William's "solo trip" for the Middle East countries came earlier in November based on the palace's official statements. While the NATO Summit is already enough reason as to why Kate Middleton did not fly with her husband, Cheat Sheet, revealed that there are other reasons as well.

As per the publication, there were "insiders" and sources who attested that their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are the reason why. This comes after the young royals' official break from school started.

It was stated that the family's holiday plans and traditions were expected by the kids from their parents amid the Christmas break from school. Hence, Kate Middleton chose to stay with the kids and give them the break that they need for the Christmas season.
