BTS V's Chinese fans are preparing to celebrate his birthday in style after @KIMTAEHYUNGBAR posted its large scale plans for the V's birthday. It seems that V will be the first idol in history to have a full airway flight cabin support video to be shown in all of Asiana Airlines' flights.
According to a report by All Kpop, the airway video ads will also be aired for the entire month of December on KBS after fans bought ad space on the network. The project, called Triumph in the Skies, seeks to increase Kim Taehyung's influence on a global scale.
The fans reportedly chose Asiana Airlines as their partner because V recently took an Asiana Airlines flight to travel to Japan for MAMA 2019. Fans believed that if V takes another flight on the airline, he would be happy to see the video they have prepared for him.
However, Triumph in the Skies is actually the fourth part of fan events that V stans have prepared for the BTS member under their Project Vionysus. The first part was called Mark of the Golden Age, where fans took full-page ads for their birthday greetings to V on December 30th. The ads will be released on 13 million copies of newspapers across 25 publications.
Fans also sponsored the largest subway support ad in history by lighting up 1899 LED screens in Seoul's subways under the City of Thousand Stars project.V's image will also be featured in five major LED screens in Hollywood for the La La Land project. For two days, fans will also sponsor supporting tricks at the Jingle Ball event.
It actually comes as no surprise that fans are going all out for Kim Taehyung's birthday. The BTS member has proven his strong marketing reach by selling out brands and causing global trends simply because of his airport fashion choices.
Simple tweets from V have also caused a frenzy of Twitter trends among fans who awaited every engagement. It is believed that strong fan support for V comes from fans who admire the BTS member for his distinctive voice and his musical talent. His friendship with his Wooga Squad hyungs, Park Seo Jun, Park Hyung Sik, Choi Woo Shik, and Peakboy is also a favorite topic among the fans because of the group's antics, a report said.
V will celebrate his 24th birthday on Dec. 30.
