A new video surfaced online recently showing the all-electric Tesla Cybertruck driving around Los Angeles. According to some reports, Tesla CEO Elon Musk is purportedly driving the prototype of the upcoming revolutionary pickup truck, but it is not confirmed if he was really behind the wheel when the video was taken. The latest footage reveals several things about the Cybertruck, which, according to Techcrunch, raises several questions.

The new video of Tesla Cybertruck shows that it has no mirrors, says Matt Burns of Techcrunch. US regulations state that passenger vehicles are required to have a mirror inside and one on the side of the driver. In the video, the all-electric pickup truck from Tesla has no mirror on the driver's side, the report claims.

When Tesla CEO Elon Musk launched the Cybertruck, he said that the vehicle utilized a video camera for the rear-view, something other automakers are trying. Cadillac has been successful in doing this for years. The lack of a side mirror on the driver side is a big question, the report states.

The vehicle used during the launch has no exterior mirrors similar to the Cybertruck seen in the video. It likely uses a camera for the side mirrors, the report notes. In addition to the mirrorless truck, the report also points out that there is a lot of body roll in the latest video of the Cybertruck.

Tesla Cybertruck, like all other vehicles developed by Tesla, has a bank of batteries positioned at the bottom of the vehicle. If Tesla applies this on the Cybertruck, the bulk of the weight would be at the bottom, dropping the center of the gravity while providing the vehicle with more stable driving experience, the report continues. The all-electric pickup truck shows a large amount of body roll with a broader base than what is supposedly allowed.

The US standards do not allow that the vehicle's tires are more extensive than the fenders since tires must be covered with fenders, Techcrunch claims. While the observation is really interesting, the report failed to acknowledge that the Tesla Cybertruck in the video is just a prototype. A prototype is only a preliminary model from which other forms are copied or developed.

In other words, while there are some noticeable issues with the Tesla Cybertruck, as shown in the video, the electric vehicle company will develop it. The production of the all-electric pickup truck will start in 2021, and between now and the production date, many things will change. Elon Musk earlier said that even the design of the prototype is not yet final.
