Ben Affleck had several romantic relationships in the entertainment industry, so it wouldn't be surprising that they would run into or work with each other at one point. Just recently, his exes Jennifer Lopez and Lindsay Shookus shared a dinner ahead of the former's hosting gig on Saturday Night Live.

Over the weekend, Lopez hosted the popular sketch comedy show, which Shookus produces. Rumors have it that Shookus bashed the Batman actor during dinner with Lopez.

According to Woman's Day, the two had a cozy dinner together in New York City, and they talked about their common ex-boyfriend. The outlet cited a source as saying the two did not hold back on talking about Gone Girl actor.

"Particularly Lindsay, who saw the worst of him as they tried to sort out his drinking problem after his divorce from Jennifer Garner," the source said.

Shookus allegedly dissed Affleck while Lopez just laughed at the SNL's producer story. However, the insider noted that J. Lo did tell Shookus that they had a lot in common.

While it is true that the two had dinner recently, Gossip Cop noted that it is unlikely that they would talk about Affleck over dinner as they were with the other cast and crew of SNL. Show creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels, as well as the cast member Kate McKinnon, were also present at the dinner.

Also, J. Lo attended the dinner with her fiance, Alex Rodriguez. It would be awkward for both women to chat about their common ex in front of ARod.

Affleck and Lopez dated in 2002 while filming their movie Gigli. They got engaged in November 2002 but called it off in early 2004, citing too much media pressure on their wedding.

In an interview with NBC News special anchor Maria Shriver, the Hustlers actress admitted that her break-up with Affleck was her "first real heartbreak." She married singer Mark Anthony in June of the same year.

As for Affleck, he entered into a relationship with his Daredevil co-star Jennifer Garner also in 2004. The couple got married in June 2005. After 10 years of marriage, Affleck and Garner two announced their separation. Their divorce was finalized in October 2018.

After Affleck's split from the Alias actress, he started dating Shookus. They split in August 2018.

Gossip Cop noted that this is not the first time Woman's Day published a false story about Affleck and Shookus. Last year, the site also debunked Woman's Day story that the Argo actor is set to propose to Shookus. Prior to that, the outlet also claimed Affleck broke up with the SNL exec to move back in with Garner.
