Vikings season 6 episode 4 is set to air next week, with the title "All the Prisoners." This episode will pick up the events that happened in the previous episode, bringing more chaos and actions. Here's what viewers can expect in next week's episode.
In the synopsis of Vikings season 6 episode 4, Lagertha will lead her village's response to the recent attack. However, the consequences are tragic, despite doing everything she can. Olaf, on the other hand, comes up with a bold new plan for the future of Norway, while Ivar will discuss the ambitions of Prince Oleg to Scandinavia.
The promo of Vikings season 6 episode 4 has been released as well, and it looks like there's a betrayal between brothers Hvitserk and Ubbe. The latter confronts his crying brother and grabs him by the collar, claiming he betrayed him for the second time. Ubbe further declared he doesn't want to see Hvitserk anymore.
It looks like Hvitserk turns his back after apologizing, but it's yet to be seen whether Ubbe will let him live or not. Meanwhile, the promo also shows Lagertha fighting against Kattegat's enemies, with the shield maiden rushing into the battle and ordered her followers to fight. At the end of the clip, Lagertha was shown screaming and running into the battle.
One of the beloved characters will possibly die within this episode, according to Express, as Lagertha told everyone they would be taken to Valhalla. However, it remains unclear who is she speaking to and whether or not there would indeed be a major death.
The promo of Vikings season 6 episode 4 also sees Prince Oleg confirming that he has arranged for his army of Rus Vikings as they wanted to invade Scandinavia. But then, it appears that their plans for invasion caused tension between him and Vikings Ivar the Boneless. In response to the plan, the latter said he'd become a "puppet ruler."
However, Prince Oleg threatens Ivar, telling him: "Don't ever betray me." It's exciting to see what would be Ivar's next move, especially since he's having some real self-reflection. Additionally, Andrei Claude (as Prince Oleg's general Ganbaatar) previously teased Ivar will have some interesting time with the Rus and will possibly learn new things from Prince Oleg as well.
Vikings season 6 episode 4 will arrive on Wednesday, Dec. 18, on History. For UK-based viewers, they can watch the episode the day after, which is on Thursday, Dec. 19, on Amazon Prime.
