One Direction members don't see each other much since they announced their hiatus four years ago. So when asked who among his former group members Liam Payne wanted to see, he said it would be Harry Styles. So, why did he choose the Dunkirk star more than the others?
Liam Payne told The Face Magazine that he quite regularly speaks to Louis Thomlinson. He also knows where he stands with Niall Horan when it comes to their friendship. However, when it comes to Harry Styles, it looks like everything has changed.
Cheryl's former partner sees so much mystery to what Harry Styles has become today. When he looks at his photo, he is not sure what to say to him other than, "Hello" and "How are you?"'
Liam Payne said that when people compare the stuff they put out, it's entirely the opposite. "I'm like the anti-Christ version of what Harry is," he added.
He then talked about Harry Styles' big trousers, per E! News. For him, it was only a case of "fair play" for doing what he wanted. If the Sign of Times hitmaker wanted to wear an earring or go to Met Gala donning something unexpected, there would be no problem with it. It was only a fair play because he couldn't see his self in those clothes, adding he would look weird if he did so.
By the looks of it, Liam Payne and Harry Styles haven't talked to each other for a long while. Liam hasn't heard from his former bandmate since then. Fortunately, he remains friends with Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.
The band went on their separate ways when they went on a hiatus in 2016. They focus on their work and now have their respective albums.
Liam Payne just released his first-ever album LP1, last week. Harry Styles will drop his new and second album, Fine Line, in the next few days. Also, Louis Tomlinson is also set to have his debut album, Walls, in January 2020.
He also released a few songs of his own in the past. As for Zayn Malik, he already had two solo albums, Mine of Mine and Icarus Falls, since he left One Direction.
It cannot be helped that there will be a competition between them, but Liam Payne told Esquire that they are doing different things. Anyhow, he is thankful for the people who already got his new album. He even said, via The Sun, that he was blown away with their reaction.
