Michelle Obama and Prince Harry had a sit-down interview in 2016. After the Invictus Games that year, the two personalities talked about an incident inside Kensington Palace where they had dinner together with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Based on statements, the former First Lady of the United States revealed a "hilarious" moment that happened between Prince George and Prince Harry. As described by the Duke of Sussex, it was "embarrassing."
According to Cheat Sheet, Prince William and Kate Middleton, along with Prince Harry, invited Barack Obama and Michelle Obama for a special dinner at the Kensington Palace. It was supposed to be private. However, Prince George appeared before them while waiting for his bedtime.
Sources revealed that the young prince wore an "adorable monogrammed robe," which was seen in the photos that were captured that night.
He was also said to greet the Obamas upon his appearance. But, after he made his greetings, he noticed something different about his uncle.
As shared by Michelle Obama in the interview, Prince George was "so confused" upon seeing Prince Harry. So, the young prince went on to ask his uncle why he is so quiet. He even asked his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, as to why his uncle is acting differently.
The Duke of Sussex then jumped in and shared that the moment was "embarrassing" for him. He continued to reveal that he was on his "best behavior" that night. But, Prince George, who is seemingly close to his uncle, saw through him.
As it happens, Prince Harry is not quiet when he is with his nephew. He even shared in the interview that he always "throws" Prince George around the room, especially when they are together. Accordingly, seeing him all proper and formal during the dinner was confusing for the young prince.
While the duke felt embarrassed, Michelle Obama seemed to commend him for his "sweet" and adorable relationship with his nephew. She further stated that seeing the duke with the young Prince George is the "most precious thing if you haven't fallen in love with him yet."
As per Express UK, the Duke of Sussex is very close to kids, especially to his nephews and nieces. While there is an apparent "fallout" between him and Prince William based on recent reports, many royal fans and supporters are hoping that nothing has changed between Prince Harry and his brother's kids.
