BTS' golden maknae once again proved his strong influence in the global fashion scene after Allure Magazine specifically mentioned his long hair as one of the fashion highlights of 2019.
According to an international fashion magazine, Jungkook's long hair stood out among the many innovative colors and styles sported by Kpop idols this year. The magazine especially cited that Jungkook's long hairstyle even became a top trending topic in the US after the Lotte Duty Free Family Concert in August, All Kpop reported.
Allure's resident fashion expert Devon Abelman said that while Jungkook already cut his hair, his long hair was one of the most memorable style choices of 2019.
"A long list of male idols took their hair to longer lengths this year, but Jungkook drew the most attention. Although he has since gone shorter once again, BTS fans will never forget the look," Allure Magazine said.
BTS Jungkook's fashion choices have always become trending topics on social media as ARMYs paid special attention to the youngest BTS' strong sense of style. The maknae is no stranger to leading fashion trends and supporting small and unknown brands.
It can be recalled that this year, he caused the site of an online merchant selling modern hanboks to crash because of the sheer volume of orders it received after Jungkook wore the item.
A startup sneaker brand also recently donated to a children's charity to express their gratitude to the BTS member for supporting their product and bringing attention to their brand.
Jungkook also led the list of most liked global celebrities on Twitter, making history as the only Twitter user who had three posts exceeding 2 million likes. When he tweeted a video of himself dancing to Billie Eilish's song, the post also became the third most linked Twitter post in the history of the platform next only to tweets sent by former US President Barack Obama and Ariana Grande.
BTS' golden maknae also earned the reputation as Sold Out King, proving his Midas Touch for products that he endorsed formally or casually. ARMYs who tuned in to his live broadcasts have been known to sell out products mentioned by the BTS member.
From fabric conditioners to books and skincare products, Jungkook caused items to fly off the shelves in record time. The most recent proof of his sold-out power was GENTLE MONSTER Double Bread 02 Brown shades which he wore on BTS' web series Bon Voyage 4.
