The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are known for keeping their PDAs to a bare minimum, which is why it was surprising when Mary Berry said that they were quite touchy towards each other while filming the Christmas special. Seeing their connection firsthand, the famous chef predicted that Kate Middleton will stay loyal to Prince William for life.

“There is no actual etiquette or royal protocol that says the couple must refrain from PDA,” she said. “The likely reasoning is more that while traveling on a tour such as the India trip, technically the couple is working representatives of British monarchy. The couple is likely to show very little PDA, if any, to remain professional during their designated roles abroad.”
Many believe that Prince William and Kate Middleton have a stable relationship that they don’t need to show PDA just so people would think that they have a strong marriage.
