The new book about Melania Trump has been revealing things about the First Lady of the United States from her life growing up to her role as the wife of the United States of America's President. As she is said to be a nerd when she was young, the former fashion model has now raised the bar for the future First Ladies with her work.
In the book Free, Melania: The Unauthorized Biography, author CNN correspondent Kate Bennett praises the 49-year-old personality for raising the bar for First Ladies. Donald Trump's wife is lauded for her "uncompromising spirit and unique take" on her role as the FLOTUS, who are often "never seen as individuals," per Express.
Despite the rumors that Melania Trump is miserable, Bennett confirmed that she is enjoying herself doing her role for the country. "Everyone thought she was miserable and was sending bat signals from the White House to save her. I think the opposite is true, three years in; she's enjoying herself," she said.
The hashtag Free Melania began when she first came on the scene. However, what not everybody knows is that she is self-sufficient, independent, and a woman who can do and say whatever she wants.
Melania Trump is said to be "very uncompromising" about who she is and what she wants to do. Although it seems to be good and bad, it both lowered and raised the bar for what's expected for a First Lady to do. As they are often seen not as humans for being dragged along a lot of time, she has been showing a lot of mystery about herself in public.
Growing up, Melania Trump is said to be a "giant nerd." Her classmates described her as a nice and simple girl who excelled in the fashion design course.
Bennett said she is a giant nerd because she never socialized after school that much. As she lived too far from her school, she was always rushing to catch the train home in the afternoons. Hence, she had no time to meet her friends.
At a young age, Melania Trump is already responsible for herself. People who are close to her even called her a "wet blanket." She was not the type who change her schedule to hang out with friends. She, too, didn't stay out too late as she was always sticking to the rule book. "She was a giant nerd, disguised in the body of a five-foot-eleven fashion model," Bennett said.
