They co-parent their three kids, Violet, Samuel, and Seraphina, together, but there are rumors the 47-year-old actress is now fed up with her ex-husband's bad decisions. Allegedly, the former couple is now feuding and in an all-out-war.
"They went from being the best of friends to bitter exes almost overnight, and it's all down to Ben's bad choices," a source told Radar Online. The Peppermint star is said to be disgusted with the 47-year-old actor as he is back into drinking again. On the other hand, the Argo star is reportedly accusing her of being "controlling and bossy."
Ben Affleck allegedly explained that his partying days were over, but he couldn't help himself from drinking. However, Jennifer Garner feels like she is already sick of bailing him out when everything goes wrong.
The two Alias stars are said to be seen having a heated argument over Ben Affleck's alleged poor decision making. Jennifer Garner played an important role in The Town star's sobriety when she performed an intervention and drove him to rehab in August 2018.
However, nearly two months after he celebrated one year of his sobriety, he experienced relapse after being spotted looking drunk while enjoying the night at the UNICEF Halloween party last month. An onlooker revealed he saw Ben Affleck "downing clear drinks," while wearing a skeleton mask. But when he removed it, he looked flushed.
Ben Affleck admitted his wrong decision when he talked to the press when he picked up his kids from Jennifer Garner's house the next morning. "It happens, it was a slip, but I'm not going to let it derail me," he said.
However, despite the feud and all-out-war issue, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner still made co-parenting look easy. The two attended the church together with their three kids. Although they arrived in separate rides, they were still together. Jennifer first came with Seraphina by her side, while Ben was only a few minutes behind them with Sam, Violet, and some of their help.
According to Daily Mail Online, this only proves that they are still a team. Jennifer Garner continuously supports Ben Affleck as he deals with his sobriety slip up. It can't be denied that throughout his struggles, the Elektra star has been by his side.
Hence, Ben Affleck is eternally grateful for her support. An insider even told Us Weekly that he has the most "utmost respect" for Jennifer Garner and how she supports him through his addiction.
