Mariah Carey and Kanye West allegedly hooked up before and the secret affair could break up his marriage to Kim Kardashian. A source apparently claimed that the chart-busting diva is hoping the reality TV star would soon break up with her husband so that Carey could finally have West all to her own.
According to Gossip Cop, the report came from the Australian tabloid NW. Allegedly, Carey is immensely attracted to West and they have been together without Kim getting wind of it. The source also claimed that Carey will be revealing her bedroom tryst with West for her memoir.
However, as Gossip Cop pointed out, the details of the alleged affair didn't have an exact time frame. Worse, NW never even mentioned that Carey is in a serious relationship with Bryan Tanaka, the professional dancing she has been dating for several years.
Tanaka and Carey were actually together in New York with Carey's two children for Thanksgiving. Sources from Carey's camp also confirmed with Gossip Cop that the tabloid story was "all nonsense."
Although, Carey was indeed impressed with West when he released a cover of her song, "My all" last September. According to reports, Carey posted a tweet to praise West for the song's arrangement.
Needless to say, she was so thrilled to hear this version of her classic ballad. West made it fresh when he added a gospel touch to it by having a church choir in the background.
The song is part of West's Detroit Sunday Service Collective, which brings together 150 singers and nine musicians, according to Billboard. Choir director Jason White conducted most of the music with 2,000 volunteers participating in the whole production.
Meanwhile, West and Kardashian just released their Christmas card featuring themselves and their four kids, North, 6, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2 and Psalm, 7 months. Kardashian confirmed that they had to do a bit of Photoshop magic for the image because North was not in the mood during the photo shoot.
Kardashian said while sitting down with Ellen DeGeneres on her show that North was crying because she wanted a specific hairstyle. She told her daughter they will take the family card without her but the little girl told her mother the next day that she'd like to be in the card.
The mom arranged to have a separate photoshoot for North alone. She said that it turned out pretty well considering the anxiety they had in the earlier shoot.
