Jungkook's thumbs-up sign is the latest trend to sweep Twitterverse as photos of BTS' golden maknae instantly became the ARMYs' official symbol for good luck.

According to a report by Koreaboo, the trend started after BTS posted a group photo after its Osaka Magic Shop fan meeting in Japan.

In the photo, BTS maknae Jungkook cheekily raised his thumb and ARMYs immediately took the opportunity to create a meme phenomenon for Thumbs-Up Jungkook.

"Congratulations! You've been blessed by the Ddabong-Jungkook. Reply with "Ddabong-Jungkookah Gomawo" for good luck and good health for you and all your loved ones," one fan posted.

The report explained that the Korean term Ddabong translates to the thumbs-up sign. The thumbs-up sign generally means "it's fine" or "good."

Because of the viral Jungkook trend, ARMYs dug up more photos of BTS' golden maknae and created more memes for the internet to share.

This was not the first time netizens were charmed by a thumbs-up craze in Korea. It can be recalled several months ago that the meme of Ddabong-Dochi or the thumbs-up hedgehog, also became a trend on social media. Some fans combined images of Ddabong Jungkook and Ddabong Dochi to welcome double the blessings.

Jungkook has proven time and again, his supremacy on social media. It can be recalled that he was recently recognized by Twitter as the only person in the history of the platform to have three posts liked by over 2 million users. He also joined former US President Barack Obama and international pop superstar, Ariana Grande, in the Top 3 list of users with the highest number of likes for their posts.

Most recently, Jungkook also received recognition from international fashion magazines like Allure and Glamour UK, for his trendy long locks.

It can be recalled that for a brief period, Jungkook had long hair for BTS promotions, which he maintained until the members went on a brief break this year. Allure Magazine experts dubbed Jungkook's long hair as one of the Fashion Highlights of 2019.

Meanwhile, Glamour Magazine was also all praises for Jungkook's long hair. Based on its roundup of Kpop's Best Beauty Moments of 2019, the BTS maknae was one of the stars who made their mark on Kpop's fashion this year.

"A long list of male idols took their hair to longer lengths this year, but Jungkook drew the most attention. Although he has since gone shorter once again, BTS fans will never forget the look," the magazine said in its feature.
