Melania Trump joins in her husband, Donald Trump, into mocking the climate change activist Greta Thunberg. Despite leading the BeBest initiative that is defending children and standing up for her kid, Barron Trump, saying a minor child should be kept out of politics, the First Lady of the United States is seeming to indicate that the environmental campaigner is deserving of the mockery.

Donald Trump and Greta Thunberg's heated exchange drew attention from all sides, per Celebrity Insider. A lot of people also commented on the implications of the president's odd behavior toward a teenager. The former television personality didn't get the support of anyone in his decision to attack a child, although she is famous today.

To recall, the known businessman slammed Greta Thunberg for being Time magazine's "Person of the Year." He found the proclamation as "ridiculous," saying the Swedish teen should work out on her anger management problem and go to an "old fashioned movie" with a friend to chill.

However, many called out Donald Trump for the way he acted toward Greta Thunberg. He even lost some of his supporters due to the issue. The usual silent Melania Trump also decided to join in the debacle.

However, despite calling her husband out for attacking a child, especially after she stood up for her kid when a professor mentioned his name on trial, Melania Trump seemed to indicate that Greta Thunberg is deserving of Donald Trump's words. The way Donald is acting and pointing out the young protester is because she "communicates differently" from the world leader.

Comparing Greta Thunberg to Barron Trump, Melania Trump's spokeswoman, Stephani Grisham, said that their son is a 13-year-old "who wants and deserves privacy." Thunberg, on the other hand, is a public figure who travels the world to talk about climate change.

According to The Mary Sue, Melania Trump's involvement on the issue is relevant because she campaigns for anti-bullying with her BeBest initiative. Also, she criticized Professor Pamela Karlan, who used the name of her child during her impeachment testimony.

Hence, her point that "a minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out politics" seems to only apply to her son and not to everyone else. As she sees Greta Thunberg as a public figure, she seems to be fair game for criticisms, public mockery and bullying not just from adults but even from the world leaders.

Melania Trump seems to show that Greta Thunberg opens up herself to all forms of public attacks because she goes out in public. That is despite insisting that she doesn't want attention, to be a celebrity, pursuing a cause, or even being political.
