However, the 47-year-old actor still feels like he is disappointing his ex-wife when it comes to looking after their children.
Recently, the former couple was seen heading to a church in Los Angeles, together with their three kids. The Daredevil stars looked happy as they arrived with their children. Even Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel were also all smiles after the service, per Hollywood Life.
Jennifer Garner herself was beaming ear-to-ear while walking hand-in-hand with Seraphina. They were a picture of a perfect family as the 47-year-old actress and Ben Affleck now master the art of co-parenting after their divorce.
However, according to Us Weekly, the Argo star still feels like he is disappointing his ex-wife when it comes to co-parenting. A source told the publication that when the actor was in New Orleans, he didn't see his kids in a few weeks.
At the time, they were celebrating Thanksgiving and Violet's birthday. Unfortunately, a lot of things came up during their supposed family time. At times, Jennifer Garner wanted to do things in a certain way, but Ben Affleck couldn't follow it. Hence, they didn't have the chance to do the thing that they wanted to do on Violet's birthday.
The insider added that the Alias alum has "very high standards and expectations" for her ex-husband. They continue to co-parent their kids and spend holidays together. However, it cannot be helped that there will be issues with their schedules and commitments.
"It can be challenging to always be on the same page when you're dealing with kids' personalities, priorities, and decision making," the tipster continued to say. Anyhow, another source added the two stars always make sure that they will be present for their kids whenever they can. In fact, Ben Affleck always returns to Los Angeles whenever he has the chance to have a break from filming.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner finalized their divorce in October 2018, more than three years after they announced their split in 2015. The Town star admitted that he is dating, while the Peppermint actress has been seeing the businessman John Miller, who is said to be a complete opposite of Affleck, since last year.
