Melania Trump was with her husband President Donald Trump this weekend to visit the Joint Base Andrews, where the POTUS signed a law for the 2020 spending allocated for national defense. While there, Melania also gave a speech to wish military families, especially those who will be away from their spouses and kids, a happy Christmas.

The First Lady shared part of her speech on Twitter, where her husband was standing a few feet away. A few hours before this ceremony, the House of Representatives just declared that President Trump was impeached at the Lower House.

Following the Twitter post, followers of Trump posted messages of support for the First Lady and the president. One follower praised Melania for having such grace, dignity, respect and kindness amid what it is happening in politics. Another fan said that Melania is such a very kind and loving person despite the way the Democrats have treated the president.

Melania was wearing an all-beige ensemble with an oversized wrapped Burberry coat, a high neck cashmere sweater and tailored skinny pants. She paired this outfit with a vampy red pointed-toe Christian Louboutin pumps with thin heels and a matching red croc-embossed handbag.

After this visit to Maryland, the First Lady and Trump flew to Florida for the rest of the holidays. They are expected to spend Christmas and New Year in Mar-a-Lago, the Trump's vacation resort.

It's a much-needed break for the president and his family before the Senate resumes his impeachment trial in January. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, however, has yet to send the Articles of Impeachment from the House of Representatives to the Senate since she wants to know first who will handle the process knowing that the Senate is ruled by the Republicans, Trump's allies.

According to reports, Trump is mad as hell at the House Democrats for this impeachment. The president is even more upset that they are not going to let him have his day in court just yet with the delay by Pelosi.

Meanwhile, White House staff members apparently received a Christmas card signed by the President, the First Lady and their teenage son Barron Trump. Critics of the family, however, mocked the signature of Melania because it looked just like Trump's sharp and zigzag stores, however, previous letters signed by the First Lady did show that her signature is almost similar to her husband's.
