First Lady Melania Trump is in the center of another plagiarism scandal. This time around, it involves her signature and netizens made plagiarism jokes than an actual accusation of copying someone else's work.

Melanie has been "accused" of plagiarizing her husband's signature after several American citizens shared online photos of the First Family's Christmas card that they received. In the card, the signatures of Donald and Melania Trump were seen at the bottom of the greeting "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" along with Barron Trump's signature.

Many Twitter users noticed the similarity of the couple's signatures and quickly joked about how FLOTUS copied her husband's signature. Then, it appeared that there are two Christmas cards from the couple.

According to MSNBC's Chris Hayes, every member of the Senate also received an envelope from the White House. It contains a big white Christmas card, a little red Christmas card, and a copy of the six-page letter that Trump sent to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Both white and red cards have the signature of Donald and Melania Trump.

Many were stunned to find out how FLOTUS's signature looks similar to her husband in both cards. Others implied that the president forced Melania to have a similar signature as his.

"The ultimate subjugation of a wife by a man is when he forces her to imitate his signature," one wrote.

Melania was not only mocked because of her signature. Her plagiarism scandal back in 2016 was also brought back to life.

#MelaniaTrump plagiarizing since 2016... doesn't even have her own signature..." one tweeted along with the photo of the Christmas card.

It can be recalled that Mrs. Trump delivered a speech on the opening day of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland on July 18, 2016. In her speech, there were passages that are similar to former First Lady Michelle Obama's remarks at the Democratic National Convention in Denver in August 2008.

Many, however, believe that the similarities in Melania's speech to Michelle's is not the former's fault but rather of her staff. Many blamed Melania's "incompetent staff" and they are also wondering why Donald Trump refused to fire his wife's staff despite the mistake.

After the scandal broke out, Melania's staff member Meredith McIver took the blame for the controversial speech. She admitted that she included some lines from Michelle Obama's 2008 speech in Melania's address. McIver said she offered her resignation because of the incident but the president rejected it, saying it was an innocent mistake.
