First Lady Melania Trump got left out in this year's Forbes Magazine 100 Powerful Women list while her stepdaughter, Ivanka Trump, made it at No. 42. To add to the injury, some critics mocked FLOTUS for the recent snub.

Many Twitter users agreed to Forbes' decision not to include Melania in its 100 Most Powerful Women list this year. The discussion about the snub on Melania got heated up when the hosts of Fox & Friends and a guest discussed the list on one of its recent episodes.

The hosts were outraged that the First Lady did not make the cut. One of the guest presenters, Tammy Bruce, added women who are recognized for doing good things to other people should be included in the list.

However, some netizens disagree. A clip of the show was quickly shared online and subsequently, the First Lady received criticisms from netizens.

"They thought Melania should be on the 100 Most Powerful Women list? Melania who?" one wrote.

Many believed the First Lady did nothing significant for the world this year. Others took to Twitter to explain why they think Melania, and even Ivanka, should not be included in the list.

One also said she is offended that Ivanka made it on the list and even above Rihanna and Beyonce. RiRi is at No. 61 while Queen Bey is at No. 66.

"You need to actually be influential to make a 'most powerful women' list. Ivanka and Melania can't even stop their daddy, husband from bullying teenage girls on Twitter, never mind violating his oath of office," one tweeted.

The Twitter user is referring to Donald Trump's attack to 16-year-old environmentalist Greta Thunberg when she was named People Magazine's Person of The Year. Netizens slammed the president for his attack on Thunberg.

Melania, on the other hand, received backlash for not standing up for the teenager against her husband's bullying. A Twitter user pointed out that FLOTUS couldn't be in a coveted list when she can't stop her husband from bullying little girls considering that she is actively campaigning to stop the very same act.

The 2019 Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Women list is led by German Chancellor Angela Markel. She is followed by European Central Bank president Christine Lagarde and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at the third spot.

Other prominent personalities in the list are former UK Prime Minister Teresa May, philanthropist Melinda Gates, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Queen Elizabeth II, and Greta Thunberg. Hollywood celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift, and Reese Witherspoon also made it to the list.
