Sarah Ferguson made some comments on how brave her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, were in the midst of their father's scandal. Despite what Prince Andrew is going through, the princesses remain strong and steadfast, so the two receive praises from their mother.
Speaking at the One King Act ball in London, the Duchess of York, who is also best known as Fergie, talked about her family. In a video shared online, she could be seen praising her kids as they continuously keep going despite the woes surrounding their names.
At the time, the Yorks were preparing for their first Christmas after Prince Andrew resigned from his royal duties due to his connection to the criminal sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. "Those girls are the most precious blood in my veins," Sarah Ferguson said, per Daily Mail Online.
She continued to say that she believed people shined by helping others, while selflessness was precisely right. Just like her girls, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie remained humble and kept "going on and on." Sarah Ferguson also used a quote from Rudyard Kipling's poem, titled If, saying, "If you can keep your head when all men doubt you," adding her children were fantastic.
The year has been a difficult time for Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as they are still coping with the backlash that Prince Andrew received. Aside from his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, his interview with the BBC also turned into a disaster.
At the time, Prince Andrew denied the allegations that she slept with the then-minor Virginia Roberts. A lot of people also questioned his refusal to express some remorse over his friendship with the disgraced American financier.
According to New Idea, Princess Beatrice is the most affected by Prince Andrew's scandal that she reportedly has to cancel her wedding with her fiancé, Edoardo Mepelli Mozzi. Allegedly, a source revealed that the couple had a serious talk and decided that it would be best for them if they would cancel their exchange of vows.
Unfortunately, the supposed to be "magical time" in Princess Beatrice's life turned into a nightmare because of her father. The insider continued to say that Prince Andrew knew that he was the reason why her daughter's wedding would fall apart.
Allegedly, Princess Beatrice told her dad that she was upset about his BBC interview, defending his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. He then reportedly apologized to her kid for ruining her big day. However, she was still "very upset" with him.
