Queen Elizabeth may already be in her 90s, but she looked like she still has a lot of energy. While most senior citizens couldn’t move much anymore, Her Majesty still manages to complete her royal obligations.
As for Queen Elizabeth’s firstborn Prince Charles, he is 71 years old. But just like his mother, he also does his royal duties successfully. These are the reasons why it was quite shocking when a report claimed that the Queen and the future King’s health are failing.
The bogus report even went on to say that Queen Elizabeth may not survive after the summer, and Prince Charles is “dying.” If this is the case, then Prince William is set to lead the monarchy as he is the second in the line of succession to the British throne.
“Her Majesty wants to ensure the future of the monarchy in these troubled times. Elizabeth, who has been diagnosed with a fatal heart condition of her own, knows she may not survive until summer, too,” the unnamed sources purported. “She fears the monarchy will be destabilized if her death is quickly followed by Charles’ coronation and sudden passing. To avoid any crisis, she has named William heir to the throne.”
Queen Elizabeth may be 93 years old, but she is certainly not showing any signs of slowing down. While her trait as a hardworking Queen is very admirable and inspiring, there is actually a downside to it.
A Palace source revealed that Her Majesty told a friend last year that her “knees were playing up.” However, she didn’t want to undergo an operation as she believed it would keep her from completing her obligations.
As for Prince Charles, he previously worried a lot of royal fans last month when he visited Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, which is a Sikh house of worship, to celebrate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak. Despite posing with a huge smile on his face upon his arrival at the South Asian Country, many couldn’t help but notice the Prince of Wales’ swollen hands and feet. They were so painful-looking that many believed that the future King needed medical attention as soon as possible.
While there is no official explanation as to what happened to Prince Charles’ swollen hands and feet, it is possible that a long flight to India was the cause of the puffiness.
Whatever the reason may be, one thing is for sure — Prince Charles didn’t let it get in the way in completing his royal obligations. Also, it is expected that the Prince of Wales has a medical team with him when he travels, and they would never let him continue with his duties if he’s dealing with a major health crisis.
Despite these health issues, the recent claims about Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles's condition are quite a stretch and unnecessary.
