According to an insider, George and Amal are managing to stay married despite the speculations that their relationship is on the rocks. Apparently, the two made a pact that might sound strange to other couples.
The insider revealed that George and Amal sat down together early this year to list a set of rules for themselves that would make them feel comfortable about their marriage. The source also said that George and Amal recognized that they are "two very different people" but instead on imposing a change of attitude or trying to fight each other, this power couple apparently found a way to compromise, per New Idea.
In November, OK! Magazine published in its printed edition that George and Amal are no longer living in the same house, let alone the same continent because of work. Allegedly, this set up is putting a lot of strain on their relationship. The report even suggested that the Clooneys are now living separate lives.
The report additionally stated that it's not just the distance between them that's causing problems as George and Amal apparently also have problems communicating on the phone. The source said that since Amal is busy tending to their twins and her work in London, she can't make time for her husband, who is filming in different places and who allegedly prefers very early morning talks.
However, Gossip Cop debunked the report by OK! Magazine citing that the tabloid is making bogus claims about the Clooneys' marriage. The news outlet pointed out that it's not the first time OK! printed a story about George and Amal's marriage breakdown. Despite the many false reports, the Hollywood power couple are still very much together.
Gossip Cop also busted another report alleging that George and Amal are fighting over the actor's previous relationships and the women he works with. Apparently, none of these claims are true and sources have confirmed that the rumors about George's other women are without basis.
George and Amal's whirlwind courtship might have indeed surprised a lot of people when they first got together that some continue to speculate this love story will not last. But since meeting Amal and becoming a father, George acknowledged that he is a different man who changed his bachelor ways for the better.
