It looks like royal fans are not only pitting the Sussexes and Cambridges against each other but their kids as well. After Kate Middleton aired her hopes for her children -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis -- to spend more time with their cousin, baby Archie, Meghan Markle's followers seemed to disagree.

A source told Us Weekly that the Duchess of Cambridge is hoping her children would have more bonding time with their new baby cousin. However, there were a lot of netizens who didn't agree with baby Archie to hang out with his cousins.

On Twitter, the Sussexes' fans aired their sentiments about the matter. Twitter user @VanessaNguyen28 said baby Archie would be too busy chilling with his cousin Olympia to spend time with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Another one, with user ID @teresajhol, added Meghan Markle doesn't do Kate Middleton because she is not on her level. With her kind of friends, Michelle Obama, Serena Williams, Misha Nonoo, and the likes, she doesn't have the time to bond with them.

According to The Sun, the palace tries its best to avoid "diary clashes" between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton and Prince William to prevent competition. Royal author Katie Nicholl claimed that courtiers are eager to prevent these two royal couples from being pitted against each other.

When they went on their respective royal tours in Pakistan and South Africa in autumn last year, Nicholl revealed that the date clashes were avoided at all costs. She explained that the palace already planned for it so that there wouldn't be too many clashes between the two parties.

"I think that's why where couriers can avoid diary clashes they will because they'll be keen to avoid any sense of competition between the couples," she added. Nicholl continued to say that, with the split of the royal households and the divided royal foundation, it looked like the clash couldn't be helped.

With their busy schedules as working royal couples, it would be inevitable that they would be doing tours, engagements, and official duties that would clash in the diary at times. Despite their effort not to make it happen, Nicholl said it was just the way it was going to be.

Anyhow, the whole point of splitting the household and the foundations are so that they can each pursue their trajectories. What the courtiers are hoping now is that there will be fewer future clashes or conflicts of interest that will give a chance for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and Kate Middleton and Prince William to pit against each other.
