Korean stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are showing great chemistry in their reunion K-drama, Crash Landing On You. It is not surprising that they are being rumored to be dating each other.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin have worked in several projects together. The Korean romance drama, Crash Landing On You, is their first TV series after Secret Garden in 2011. They also starred in the movie The Negotiation last year, but they did not share many scenes together.
In a previous interview with Esquire Korea, the Memories of Alhambra actor admitted that he was impressed by Son Ye Jin's acting. He also expressed interest in working with the Something In The Rain actress again.
"There are times when I feel great charm and thrill from seeing the actor opposite me show unexpected acting... While filming 'The Negotiation,' I saw that in Son Ye Jin. So I thought, I want to try working with her again," he said.
In the new tvN romance drama, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin play the lead roles. The series tells the romance that blooms between a South Korean conglomerate heiress, Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye Jin), and a high-ranking North Korean officer, Ri Jung-hyuk (Hyun Bin).
While paragliding, a strong wind lifts Yoon Se Ri off course and lands her in North Korea. There, she meets Ri Jung Hyuk (Hyun Bin). Knowing that her life is in endanger, the North Korean army officer tries to hide and protect the heiress. Soon, Ri Jung Hyuk falls in love with her.
Rumors have it that the romance between Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin is not only on screen. The Korean stars are, reportedly, dating in real life and have been planning to get married.
However, their respective spokespersons have denied the dating speculations. Hyun Bin's label VAST Entertainment just laughed off the rumor.
Son Ye Jin's agency, MS Team Entertainment, also denied that their talent is dating her co-star. The label said Ye Jin and Bin have been receiving good feedback from their K-drama, and many people may misunderstand their relationship because of their great acting.
Meanwhile, both lead stars of Crash Landing On You are also the most buzzworthy cast members among the on-going K-dramas for the week of December 23 to 29. Son Ye Jin took the No. 1 spot while Hyun Bin follows in second place.
The tvN drama is also named the most buzzworthy TV series last week. It was followed by SBS two new series Stove League and VIP.
