Melania Trump was threatened to sue anyone who would call her an escort. A British publication already felt her wrath and filed a lawsuit over its allegation about her in 2016. Years have passed, the issue is once again alive on Twitter, and netizens slam the First Lady of the United States about her plan to take legal action against those who will accuse her.

A lot of Twitter users dare the former model to sue them for calling her a hooker. One netizen said that her threat didn't change the fact she "looked and behaved" like one. "Just look at the pictures. Please be sure to retweet. Melania Trump to Sue Anyone Calling Her an Ex-Hooker," @Dogsbark2 said, challenging the FLOTUS.

Another one added that Melania Trump's plan was a wrong move. If she, indeed, sues someone for calling her an escort, she will have to prove it in court that she's not one. It will then possibly unearth former clients to testify under oath and may also shine a "harsher light" on the issues about her visa, adding it is the worst thing that she can do.

@BowmanNancy added that with all the issues now surrounding Melania Trump, she should expect that there would be more. "Melania might've looked up "Streisand Effect" before this," she said.

To recall, in 2016, Donald Trump's wife threatened to sue the British newspaper Daily Mail and other publications that claimed she worked as a "high-paid escort" when she was still a model. Her lawyer, Charles Harder, told The Cut that Melania Trump placed several news companies on notice for their false and defamatory statements about her alleged being an escort in the 1990s.

Harder added that the accusations made against his client were 100 percent not real, highly damaging her reputation and personally hurting her feelings. Although Melania Trump knew that she would be dragged in the dirty politics as her husband was running for the presidency at the time, she insisted saying lies about her wasn't acceptable.

According to BBC, Daily Mail agreed to pay damages and costs to Melania Trump over the article it wrote about her modeling career that was published during the U.S. presidential election. It once claimed that she was an escort, but later retracted the accusations.

Melania Trump accepted damages and an apology from the publication at London's High Court. She, too, was very pleased and would stay vigilant to protect her name and reputation over the people who tried to ruin her.
