TWICE's agency, JYP Entertainment, has taken legal action against Nayeon's stalker. The label filed criminal charges in court and also sought a restraining order.

In a statement, JYP said it filed criminal charges to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station against a foreigner who has been following TWICE member Nayeon. It also sought a restraining order from the Seoul Central District Court.

According to JYP, the stalker continue with his attempts to approach Nayeon despite being warned not approach her. Apparently, the stalker continuously took actions that ignored the warnings. The stalker was identified by new reports as a German man who uses the name "Josh" on his Twitter account.

Following the criminal charges and restraining order, Josh shared a new video on social media expressing his love to the singer. He also stressed that he would respect Nayeon's decision not to talk to him when she says it herself to him. The stalker said he would return to Germany once Nayeon orders him to do so.

Last week, Nayeon was placed under police protection after Josh attempted to approach her again while the K-pop girl group was on board a plane from Japan to South Korea. According to the agency, the stalker was warned several times to stop following the 24-year-old singer but he ignored the warnings and attempted to force his way to get close to the TWICE member while boarding the plane.

The situation got tense when Josh reportedly raised his voice after the staff prevented him from approaching Nayeon. JYP said Nayeon wasn't hurt during the incident but the plane commotion caused discomfort and anxiety to the K-pop idol.

TWICE fans expressed concern to the singer after she posted on Instagram a disturbing message, saying, "Go Home. Please Stop. I beg of you," while onboard a plane. Netizens believed that the idol is referring to Josh.

The stalker later on admitted that he managed to get the same flight with TWICE with the help of his friends on Twitter. He, however, said it was not Nayeon who posted the message on IG Story but the group's manager who was next to him during the flight.

Josh also claimed that he was attacked by TWICE managers when he isn't doing anything to harm the TWICE member. However, he also revealed that while the group was sleeping, he managed to come closer to Nayeon and gave her a letter before the managers throw him off.

Meanwhile, in his latest post, Josh said he plans to give some gifts to his favorite K-pop singer through his friends. He said he has friends who are in Seoul and could help him deliver gifts directly to TWICE lead vocalist.
