Seth Rogen is, reportedly, playing matchmaker for Charlize Theron and Channing Tatum. Both stars are single at the moment and they have been rumored going on a date lately because of Rogen.
Life & Style published a story that has a headline, "Channing & Charlize: Hot New Couple Alert!." Apparently, the two are the newest couple in town thanks to their common friend, Seth Rogen.
The Long Shot actor is, allegedly, trying to set up the Magic Mike star with Theron. Both Charlize and Channing are, allegedly, very interested in the idea.
Theron and Tatum haven't work in a movie in the past. Their only interaction was when they performed a ballroom-style dance together at the Oscars in 2013. At the time, the actor was married to Jenna Dewan. The publication's source, however, claimed the chemistry between Theron and Tatum at the time was off the charts.
The insider added Tatum always thought the Mad Max: Fury Road actress is very talented and gorgeous while Theron feels the actor is handsome and charming. Charlize is, reportedly, willing to give Tatum a shot to know her better.
Gossip Cop debunked the rumors, saying the tabloid has been linking the two only because they are both not dating anyone at the moment. The Step Up actor, recently, broke up with singer Jessie J.
As for Theron, the actress ended her relationship with Sean Penn in 2015. Since then, she has been linked with several actors, the most recent was Brad Pitt. Back in May, she was also linked with The Daily Show host Trevor Noah.
In her recent appearance at The Ellen DeGeneres Show along with her Bombshell co-stars Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, Theron denied dating Noah as well as Pitt. She admitted that she is not dating anyone at the moment.
Gossip Cop also checked in with a source at Theron's camp, who assured that there is nothing true about the dating rumors between the actress and Tatum. The publication also noted that Rogen Seth has been said to be Charlize and Channing's matchmaker only because he happened to have worked with both stars in the past.
Rogen co-starred with Theron in the romantic comedy film Long Shot which was released last year. Tatum, on the other hand, had a cameo role in the actor's apocalyptic comedy film, This Is the End.
