The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has been, repeatedly, praised for her fashionable looks and appearances. With the choices that she and her stylist have been making for the past years, it is not surprising why she always receives compliments from fans and supporters.

However, recent reports claimed that Prince William's wife had "regrets" over her clothing pieces during the annual Christmas walk at the Sandringham Estate. Some even noted that this was a "mistake" admitted by the duchess herself.

According to Cosmopolitan, Kate Middleton shared with a fan from the crowd that she regrets wearing the clothes she wore on that very day. As it happened, she felt very "too hot" considering that the pieces were designed for cold weather.

The publication revealed that the fan was Karen Anvil, who was with her daughter, Karen, to whom the Duchess of Cambridge shared her concerns. It was also explained that their family has been always present in the area during the annual Christmas Walk.

Aside from witnessing members of the Royal Family doing their traditions on the morning of Christmas Day, Anvil stated that they always get to communicate as well with the royals. This was when her daughter got to engage in a conversation with Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte.

In a similar scoop released by Express UK, it was described how "hot" it was at the estate during the holiday season. Based on claims, the Christmas season in Norfolk is usually "mild" and "sunny." Unlike in most parts of the year, this is the only period when the weather gets too high, an expert claimed.

While Kate Middleton shared her personal "mishaps" over her fashion choices for the event, the same publication also previously reported that several royal fans and supporters seemingly criticized her for that specific look. As it happened, many individuals did not find her look that day pleasing and stunning.

As per assertions and comments made by the royal watchers, the gray Catherine Walker coat that the Duchess of Cambridge chose to wear was not complimenting her overall style. Some said that the design was off-putting. Others, however, contended that it was the color that made it unpleasant for her.

But, it is worth noting that the general reception toward her style that day was mixed. The reason being is that there were some followers as well who found Kate Middleton's overall appearance that day quite "stylish" and fashionable.
