President Donald Trump might be the more successful spouse in his marriage to First Lady Melania Trump but he is still proud of his wife's previous modeling career. Before she married Trump, who had built a real estate empire, she graced a lot of magazine covers including British GQ.
For Trump, Melania is "one of the most successful supermodels" in the business. She had great career because she is a "popular, brilliant and wonderful woman," as her husband described.
Melania, who grew up in Slovenia, was 18 when she landed a modeling deal in Milan. She was taking architecture, at that time, but was forced to drop out because of such a lucrative offer. She was also named the Slovenian Face of they Year in a nationwide competition.
After her success in Slovenia, Milan and even Paris, Melania decided to move to New York and also try the modeling world in the big city. Melania admitted to a friend, however, that she was struggling to land a good contract since there were so many other models in New York.
The friend revealed that Melania had her age stacked against her as she was in her 20s when she moved to the Big Apple. Through hard work and perseverance, she was able to snag the cover job for GQ. She was also able to secure a very special Einstein visa for her permanent stay in the country.
But, as much as Trump praised Melania for her success, some netizens on Twitter called out the president for his "fantasy." Critics said that Trump likes to exaggerate about everything, including his wife's career.
Consequently, netizens also attacked Melania on her Twitter by posting photos of her in the nude during her modeling days. Some suggested that Melania's modeling job is quite different from the likes of Cindy Crawford or Naomi Campbell. They alluded that she worked as an escort girl.
Meanwhile, Melania revealed the one thing she really finds attractive about her husband's body. CNN's Kate Bennett wrote, in the book Free Melania, that she actually loves her husband's "gorgeous legs" the most about his physicality.
Apparently, the president has long and beautiful legs that his wife cannot resist. The First Lady doesn't hide how much she finds her husband's legs so sexy, as she revealed in the book. Because of this, the FLOTUS regards her husband as the world's sexiest man.
