Melania Trump, apparently, once threatened that she will sue people who said that she was an ex-hooker. This was when she and her husband Donald Trump were newly installed in the White House as First Lady and President of the United States.

In 2016, The Wrap reported that Melania's attorneys sent legal notices to several news organizations that defamed her character by interjecting that she used to work as an escort girl in the '90s. Her legal team also cited that some news outlets exceeded the boundaries of proper news reporting to lie about the First Lady.

Three years later, the said report was recently revived on Twitter by some critics of the Trumps. While Melania didn't end up suing anyone, netizens could not help but figure out why.

One Twitter user said that it's possible Melania could not sue because she is not an "ex-hooker." Several other netizens agreed and said that there was really nothing "ex" about Melania because she is still getting paid doing what she's supposedly hired for.

Other commenters mocked the FLOTUS and said that her real beef was with the use of the word "ex" as it could harm her "business." They said that her "clients" might think that she was no longer available.

Some went too far as to comment on how the First Lady carries herself in public. One dared to call the FLOTUS cheap for once posing in the nude during her modeling days.

Despite these latest bashing on social media, Melania was named as the 2020 Woman of Distinction by the Palm Beach Atlantic University. According to the Palm Beach Post, the said award, now on its 28th year, is usually shared by two women who have made significant contributions in the community. However, they are honoring Melania as the sole winner for this year.

Melania, recently, got back to the White House after spending the two-week holiday break in Palm Beach, Florida with President Donald Trump and their 13-year-old son Barron. On their first week back at work, the First Couple welcomed Greece Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his wife Mareva Grabowski-Mitsotakis.

During their meeting, Trump and Mitsotakis talked about American companies potentially investing in Greece. The POTUS also congratulated Greece for its comeback after taking a series of bailout loans from 2010 to 2018 with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Melania and the Prime Minister's wife sat next to their husbands and listened as the two heads of state vowed to support each other.
