Prince Charles is reportedly not happy with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to distance themselves from the royal family. Despite the crisis talks that took place in Sandringham last Monday, the Prince of Wales also apparently warned his son and his wife of their plans to make their royal titles into a brand.

According to a source via U.S. Weekly, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a three-year-plan in place for their family and the Sussex royal brand. In spite of Prince Charles' reaction, the couple are not having second thoughts about leaving their life behind in the U.K. and moving to Canada.

The insider went on to say that Prince Harry and Meghan want to ultimately settle in Canada, spend vacations in Los Angeles, and continue to work on their charities while raising their son, Archie, who is now eight months old. They also have a plan to give Archie a sibling.

But with Prince Charles livid at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, it's still unclear how they will carry out these plans. Prince Harry's father covers 95 percent of their lifestyle costs, as well as the costs of Prince William and his family's lifestyle. Prince Charles has a billion-dollar property from the Duchy of Cornwall.

Royal observers are now wondering if Prince Charles will keep supporting Prince Harry and Meghan now that they have insisted that they will be living between two countries. Or, will the Duke and Duchess of Sussex agree to the financial dole out from their father?

The couple expressed, after announcing that they will step back as senior royals, that they would like to be financially independent. They want to start earning a private income, and they hope to no longer benefit from the coffers of the royal family.

However, Prince Charles also apparently warned Prince Harry and Meghan about entering into a commercial venture using their Sussex royal titles. It has been reported that the couple trademarked the name Sussex Royal to use for their future endeavors potentially. They have plans to expand their brand into clothing, stationery, and even emotional group support services.

Royal expert Richard Kay said that Prince Harry and Meghan would be given strict instructions on the use of their title since they cannot enter into commercial ventures that will cheapen and embarrass the royals. The palace is still working out the arrangement of the Sussex royal's new life.
