WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for Power season 6. Read at your own risk.
Power season 6 is nearing its end and viewers were close to seeing who really shot Ghost. There are a lot of possible suspects as to who pulled the trigger, and now, it looks like there's one particular character who wants Omari Hardwick's character dead.
In a recent Instagram post, executive producer 50 Cent likely revealed who shot Ghost. The clip features Tasha seemingly shooting Ghost while talking about their son needing protection. However, some believed 50 Cent may just want to hype up the situation since Power season 6 is almost ending.
He, probably, released the video to create confusion as well, especially since there are some leaks about Power season 6 finale. Possibly, 50 Cent wants people to keep people discussing who shot Ghost until the final episode arrives.
It's also worth noting that cast and crew members filmed multiple endings to throw fans off. In a report via Deadline, series creator Courtney A. Kemp revealed they've filmed different scenes because they know that things immediately get leaked in Power.
Kemp said some contents usually slip away from them. Because of this, they decided to make false, real, and different endings. In reality, leaks are terrible and such clips could ruin all the efforts and hard work the cast and crew put into the series.
In another related report, Kemp also discussed Ghost's apparent death in Power season 6. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, she said that what happened to the character is "self-explanatory." She didn't give further details as to how will Ghost end up in the series.
Meanwhile, since the series is ending, some speculated a Tommy Egan spin-off is on the way. In the closing minutes of episode 13, he chose to go to California than staying in New York. Joseph Sikora's character realized there's nothing left for him after everything that happened.
Since he decided to leave, fans think he'll likely get a different story and a spin-off -- yet nothing is confirmed right now. However, Tommy has done a lot of mistakes and bad things, so making a spin-off to redeem the character would be hard.
But, it's also worth noting that the series that's not all about character's redemption. Power focuses on characters moving and surviving through a conflicted world. And although Tommy is one of the dangerous characters in the series, his story proved to be an interesting one.
Power season 6 will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 9, on Starz.
