RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook may not show a lot of skin anymore like they used to, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t have muscles underneath those layered ensembles. The truth is that the BTS boys are collectively in their fittest form at the moment.
In Run BTS! Episode 92, the boys were playing the “True or False” game where they have to vote “O” if they agree with the question or statement, and “X” if they disagree. Question number three read: “V has the second-longest arms in BTS.” Before they decide to vote for “O” or “X,” each of the boys needed to be measured — that’s when the clothes come off.
First up was J-Hope. Since he was wearing a jacket, he needed to take it off to have a fair game. However, he didn’t stop there. Instead of just taking off his jacket, the BTS star rolled up his sleeves up to his shoulders, flaunting his whole arm — and muscles.
“Can I stretch my fingers?” J-Hope asked while extending his whole arm. That’s when Jin noticed his muscles. “Why are you flexing?” Suga jokingly asked. J-Hope then replied, “For the show.” (Watch the clip here).
Since his main goal was just to have the longest arm in BTS, J-Hope didn’t mind about the muscles part. But ARMYs are more interested in his impressive biceps that a screengrab from the scene quickly made its round on social media.
One ARMY took to Weverse to share photos of J-Hope from Run BTS! Episode 92. One snap was a full shot with the rest of the BTS boys, and the other picture is a cropped version of the original one, focusing only on J-Hope’s biceps.
After coming across the post on Weverse, J-Hope couldn’t contain himself from leaving a comment. “It’s me?????? Wow,” he wrote.
It seemed like J-Hope was too busy fanboying over his biceps that he forgot to read the “thirst comment.” The ARMY who posted these photos wrote: “Mr. Hoseok, own me.”
Fans find this hilarious, and they shared their thoughts about it on Twitter. “Did he even read the caption bc I see he was starstruck on his muscles. lol,” one wrote. “Hoseok pretending not to read the 'own me' part and proceeds to reply if that is him,” another one commented.
Many are also shocked that J-Hope replied to some kind of a sexual comment that is called a "thirst comment."
“Omg, he replied to a thirst comment haha,” an ARMY wrote. "Another episode of hobi not knowing how to respond to people that flirt with him," one shared. “He replied to a thirst comment so cutely,” another one pointed out.
