Princess Anne is one of the most unique and "spot-on" members of the British Royal Family. While she is not as popular as her brothers, like Prince Charles, many people adore and love her for her distinct character and attitude.
But, recent claims revealed that the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II is a "little difficult" to work with, especially during royal engagements and tours. This was shared by some members of the press, which seemingly shows how the Princess Royal is not a huge fan of the press and media.
According to Express UK, popular royal photographer, Kent Gavin blatantly revealed in his Amazon documentary titled, Royalty Close Up: The Photography of Kent Gavin how he found the princess "a little difficult." As reported, he recalled some incidents in the piece as to how it all happened.
Based on his statements, there was a time before when he went with Princess Anne on a two-and-a-half-week tour outside the United Kingdom. He revealed that never in those days that the princess held and carried a baby in her arms, just like what Princess Diana always used to do. So, the curiosity arose and he urged a reporter to ask the question about it during the interview after.
Kent Gavin stated that he asked the reporter to put that specific question at the end. The reason being is that they all know that the interview will soon be over once he releases "that" question.
As shared, the reporter dropped the question in the last part of the interview. He asked if there is a reason as to why Princess Anne would not "pick up" babies during her tours.
Quite obviously, the question seemingly "stunned" the daughter of the Queen. But, instead of answering directly, Gavin shared that the princess "turned" her gaze toward him.
The Princess Royal, then, reportedly, answered that he asked him to ask that question, "didn't he?", she clarified. Even so, the royal did not wait for further responses and just stated that she does not do "things like that" unlike the other royals. "He knows that," she added.
Just right after sharing her response, Kent Gavin revealed that Princess Anne "stormed off," which appeared that she took an "offense" in the question that was asked toward her. Nevertheless, the royal photographer said that the incident rather "amused" him.
As added in the reports, Princess Anne was said to have a "difficult relationship" with the press, including the photographer. It was "unusual," though, as she is reportedly the only one who has not been in good terms with him.
