Meghan Markle has been receiving a lot of objections and criticisms since she became romantically linked to Prince Harry. While most of these opinions have come from the press and the public, members and friends of the royal family seemed to have kept their silence.

But, recently, several publications claimed that a friend of Prince Charles finally broke her silence about the Duchess of Sussex. It was revealed that she is not fond of her friend's daughter-in-law since then.

According to Express UK, this friend of Prince Charles was the former Hart To Hart actress, Stefanie Powers. As it happens, they share a close friendship with each other because of their love for polo.

In an interview with Daily Beast, the 77-year-old actress shared that Meghan Markle should "rethink" her role within the monarchy. This is because she has been acting like "she wants to be a star."

Stefanie Powers blatantly stated that this is not what she is "supposed" to be doing. Her role as the Duchess of Sussex and an official member of the British Royal Family is "not to be a star."

She further continued to point out that her job is to be the "wife" of Prince Harry. With those headlines claiming that Meghan was a "Hollywood royalty" who is marrying a British royalty, she wasn't even a good actress, to begin with. She just had a "bit" role in a minor television series, she added.

Stefanie then concluded her "opinions" of Meghan Markle by sharing that she should not be changing the "royal dynamic." She should not take it as another form of a celebrity like what she always does: "the adventures of Meghan Markle in the palace."

While seemingly disappointed and frustrated with the Duchess of Sussex's actions, as well as her husband, Prince Harry, Stefanie Powers, on the other hand, gave her praises to some of the senior royals. As it happens, she is fond of Kate Middleton and Princess Anne, aside from her friend, Prince Charles.

It was revealed that the actress "loves Princess Anne." She described her as "sensational" and "committed" to what she does. The princess is her "mother's daughter," Stefanie said. She is "mischievous" and has a "wicked twinkle."

A similar reaction was also shared when talking about Kate Middleton. Just like Princess Anne, the Duchess of Cambridge is "impeccable." She does not put a "foot wrong," Stefanie described.
