Aside from the fans and supporters of the Sussex couple, celebrity friends of the both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry applauded the royals' "incredible strength," especially on the duchess end. With their knowledge of "intense scrutiny" from the press and media, they understand how it can be really tough and difficult.
One of the couple's celebrity friends who spoke about the matter included James Blunt. As per Daily Express, the 45-year-old pop star claimed that the Sussex couple does "phenomenally well" even when under "great scrutiny."
He also contended that everyone will "face criticisms" when scrutinized by the public eye. But, it is worth noting that, despite being royals, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are still "human beings."
While there are apparent support and love for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from their fans and friends, some royal experts and fans still reject the notions that Meghan and Prince Harry are "modernizing" the monarchy.
