Despite the commotion within the royal family following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s withdrawal from senior royal life, the rest of the members still have to carry on with their obligations. With that said, Kate Middleton had to put all the issues aside to complete her latest royal engagement.

Prince William’s wife recently arrived in Cardiff to attend the Ely and Careau Children’s Centre. However, royal fans felt that Meghan Markle may have upstaged the Duchess of Cambridge by posting her own announcement on social media at the same time.

When it comes to royal duties, engagements, and announcements, the royal family members try not to upstage each other. Most would wait a day or two before announcing anything.

But Meghan Markle posted a picture of herself at a dog rescue center on her Sussexroyal Instagram account just as Kate Middleton arrived in Wales for the latest leg of her project to help the early years development of children. As expected, this didn't sit well with a lot of people.

“Wow, what unfortunate timing that once again, just as a senior member of the Royal Family was heralding an important initiative, the Sussex Royal Instagram account kicked into life with some PR pictures at the very same moment,” Daily Express Royal Correspondent Richard Palmer Tweeted.

Royal fans also shared their dismay over the timing of Meghan Markle’s post to Kate Middleton’s royal engagement on the post.

“Is it unfortunate or deliberate? I think it is the latter,” one wrote. “Meghan’s stunts are getting to be infuriating,” another one commented. “The Sussex are two attention seekers,” one royal fan shared. “It’s just SUCH a coincidence that whenever the Cambridge’s announce or do something wonderful - or try and have a birthday - that there’s MeAgain with her stash of old photos,” the angry netizen pointed out.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently in Canada with Baby Archie. However, it was previously reported that a lot of people were not happy with the couple’s decision to live part-time in Canada. Angry locals have told the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they are not welcome in their country.

In a column in the Canadian newspaper, the Daily Mirror, it stated that Canada is not a back-up place when someone is “looking to get out of Britain while remaining a royal.” The paper then described Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision as “vague and evolving.”
