Jennifer Lopez did not get a Best Supporting Actress nomination from Oscars. This reportedly made the singer/actress so furious to the point that she would end her career because of it.

Lopez has been praised for her outstanding performance as a stripper in the movie Hustlers. She got a nomination from the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards because of it. Unfortunately, this is not the same case at the Oscars.

Prior to the announcement of nominees for the upcoming Academy Awards, many are expecting that the "On The Floor" singer would be one of the actresses who will acknowledge for exemplary acting. But it did not happen.

Now, Life & Style claimed JLo is so furious that she got snub and she is considering to leave the entertainment industry altogether. According to the tabloid, Alex Rodriguez's fiancée is so upset and has been crying since the nominees were revealed.

The tabloid source claimed the singer is done with the insincerity and fake smiles in Hollywood. It alleged that the JLo is now thinking about leaving the industry altogether.

Gossip Cop noted that it is understandable that Lopez got disappointed with the snub but the claim that she is thinking about quitting Hollywood is just absurd. The outlet noted that the Second Act actress recently attended the SAG Awards and though she did not win the Best Supporting Actress award, she still took to Instagram to celebrate the event.

In September last year, Lopez was asked about the possibility of getting an Oscars nom amidst the buzz about how great she performed at Hustlers. It can also be noted that JLo stressed in the interview with AccessOnline that she doesn't want to get her hopes up for the award.

As for quitting acting, it is unlikely that Lopez would turn her back on her passion because of one snub in nomination. In an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this year, the Maid In Manhattan actress admitted that dancing and music are her first loves, but acting is the love of her life.

She was then asked if there was a moment that she thought about giving up on acting. The interview was released after Oscars dropped its list of nominees.

"Once I started, no. I always felt like this is what I wanted to do. It was this or nothing. There was not really an option for me. It's just what I love," Lopez said.
