Nicole Kidman is, reportedly, not happy with Keith Urban's friendship with Jennifer Lopez. The Big Little Lies actress, reportedly, gave JLo a cold treatment when they saw each other at the Critics Choice Awards recently.
Woman's Day claimed the Bombshell actress is not comfortable around Lopez and it was evident when they saw each other at the recent award show. The outlet said there is a clear tension between the actresses.
It claimed that Kidman's frosty treatment of the Hustlers actress was due to the latter's friendship with her husband, Keith Urban. Woman's Day alleged that the couple of 13 years almost break up in 2014 because of Urban's "flirty behavior" with the "On The Floor" singer on the set of American Idol. Both Urban and Lopez served as judges of AI.
"You can't blame her. All the pictures of Keith and J.Lo snuggled up together, bantering and whispering sweet nothings into each other's ears would have stung Nicole," the source of the tabloid said.
Though Lopez is now engaged to NFL legend Alex Rodriguez, the source maintained that the Australian actress is still keeping an eye on the singer. The insider also claimed that Kidman, reportedly, made remarks about her husband that Lopez could have heard. The Goldfinch star, reportedly, heard saying that she was glad that Urban missed the event or she could have kept him on a leash because JLo is around. As for Lopez, the singer-actress, reportedly, can't believe that Kidman is still holding a grudge over Urban's harmless flirting with her six years ago.
Gossip Cop, however, said it is hard to believe the accuracy of the Woman's Day story, considering Kidman and Lopez were seen being very friendly with each other during the Critics' Choice Awards. In fact, the two were also photographed sharing a laugh while having a friendly chat and in another snap, their arms were around each other.
Gossip Cop maintained that these photos showed that there is no tension between the two. The site added that Kidman and Lopez could probably become friends while the "If You Had My Love" singer was judging AI with Urban.
Gossip Cop also noted that the Aquaman actress' alleged jealousy has been a recurring story in Woman's Day. In September, it published a similar article but it involved Taylor Swift.
It alleged that Kidman warned the "Lover" singer to stay away from Urban. Two months later, the tabloid released another story about Kidman being suspicious of her husband's friendship with Miranda Lambert.
