Jennifer Lopez had a critically-acclaimed hit movie, Hustlers, in 2019 and her relationship for New York Yankee legend Alex Rodriguez is getting strong. But despite her huge achievements in the past year, JLo also endured rumors about in her career and private life last year.

Hustlers was praised by critics and Lopez received a nomination from the Golden Globes for her performance as veteran stripper Ramona Vega in the movie. But, before and after the movie was released in September, the "On The Floor" singer has been subjected to different attacks and speculations.

There were earlier rumors that JLo had a meltdown on the set of her movie over reports that her fiance cheated on her. Woman's Day claimed the usually smiling Lopez came on set in tears. The tabloid insider claimed the singer-actress tried to brush off all the drama on her relationship with Rodriquez but she had a hard time putting a brave face.

Gossip Cop noted that the claim was a lie as ARod denied the cheating allegation. The outlet also noted that it is possible that Lopez was seen crying on set because was filming an emotional scene.

Then, this speculation was followed by a National Enquirer story that the former NFL player was upset over Lopez's steamy scenes in Hustlers. The outlet's source claimed though Rodriguez knew that his fiancée would be playing the role of a stripper, he still freaked out after he saw her pole dancing and sexy outfits. ARod, allegedly, can't take the fact that men will swoon at the sight of his girlfriend in the movie.

Gossip Cop stressed that this story could be easily dismissed as there was no sign that ARod has a problem with Lopez showing off her body in the film. In fact, he even visited the Maid In Manhattan actress on the set of Hustlers in early 2019 and the couple was all smiles at the time.

The singer-actress was also accused of being too excited to attend the upcoming Oscars after speculation began swirling that Hustlers could possibly get an Academy Award nomination. Star claimed Lopez was already working on her Oscar acceptance speech as she expects to get Best Supporting Actress nod. However, Jen said in an interview that she doesn't want to get her hopes up for the award.

Lopez got nominated for Best Supporting Actress in both Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Unfortunately, she did not get a nomination from Oscars, so as Hustlers.

Amidst the recent Oscars snub, it looks like Lopez is keeping a positive outlook on her career and personal life. She is set to headline the upcoming Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show along with Shakira next month. The Second Act actress is also busy preparing for her wedding to ARod.
